Thanks for the discount fish finder review! I think that one of my favorite features of this is the shallow water warning, as that would help prevent accidentally getting stuck where it looks like you could've floated through. All in all, it looks like a pretty good buy.

I bought MIO C 520 in 2008. I'm from BULGARIA and it was very expensive at this time ( 500 Euro ! ). I bought it because they said it has voice in BULGARIAN (not only the interface). After i bought it , I realised thatthe map for BULGARIA is so poor that even some of the towns with 100 000 people were not OK with the roads. The MIO guided me through the most stupid ways You could go if want to get somewhere. It became, that i know more roads in BG than the stupid device! The same situation in GREECE ! According to the c520 i was in the middle of a corn field and not on one of their main city roads... and so on, and so on.. I expected to get a MAP update until now , but i couldn't find any update (not for Windows, not for the version of the software, not a singke new map!! ). Please, advise me what to do?

I purchase a TL1000 mileage logger from Triplogik. I decided to go with it as there are no monthly fees. I have used it for almost a year now, and I have to say it is flawless. It saves me lots of work and I am claiming more then ever on my expense report.

Those mileage loggers are a blessing!

An in-dash OEM GPS leaves you at the whim of the auto manufacturer as to updates (compared to, say, Garmin, who provides updates I can buy every year). My car is over a year old, and the maps were out of date when it was new, but there are no updates yet from the carmaker. I can see on NavTeq's web site that the data has been updated. Be aware.

Also, in-dash systems cannot usually be overridden so that data can be typed in when the car is moving, even when someone is sitting in the passenger seat. This is a major flaw. Nobody wants to stop for 3-5 minutes while they navigate the slow-moving GPS interface. Again, my old handheld Garmin completely allows my passenger to enter navigation data.

REALTORS Association of Lake & Sumter Counties (RALSC) is located at 3001 SR 19, Tavares, FL 32778. However, you have to add an extra ZERO (30001) in order to locate our building which is quite frustrating for our students and new members who try to locate us. I tried updating through the sites mentioned above and have not been successful yet.

Bought A Mio C520t in 2007 and 4 years not one single map update. Company has no backup..If you want to feel lost or get lost, get a Mio, because screen will show you driving through feilds most of the time. Mio is just an expensive road atlas.
NEVER BUY A MIO/NAVMAN or any of there products that need updates, because they dont do updates.
